This link/QR code will lead you to the survey platform Qualtrics. There’s no need to create an account or log on. You’ll be given (a condensed version of) the Information Letter for Participants again, just to make sure we’re all on the same page, followed by the Informed Consent questions.
The survey for Reading Mentors takes about 15-20 minutes to complete.
It asks you to choose a series you've read that includes at least one mentoring or guiding relationship between two characters. After selecting this mentoring pair, the survey asks a mix of open-ended and closed questions about your impressions, feelings, and interpretations of how characters support, influence, or interact with one another, as well as what the story shows about growing up and connections between young people and adults. I
t also asks a few demographic questions and short questions about your reading history, so your answers can be understood in context.
